Her background includes extensive experience working with children, individuals, and families providing counseling based on a strength-focused model. Her broad clinical experience gives her a sensitive understanding of complex family needs in a challenging urban environment. As a Psychotherapist on a clinical interdisciplinary trauma team at a major hospital, Alison provided trauma-informed care to individuals. She is skilled in directing individual and group work from both psychotherapeutic and art therapy perspectives. She combines, psychotherapeutic interventions with meditation and art therapy to achieve stress reduction, self-awareness, and self-expression.
